I got this because most selfie sticks are around 4' long, and I needed one that could reach 5'-6' tall for a store virtual walk-thru, that was recommended to capture at eye level. I use this with my Insta360 X4 camera. This expandable selfie stick is very easy to use, a single quarter turn to the left unlocks a section, and a quarter turn to the right locks it in place. Need it longer, do two quarter turns and two sections will unlock. The internal locking mechanism is such that you can adjust it to literally any length. Very light weight and comfortable to hold, even at full extension.

I bought this for use mainly indoors, for shooting at school events (science fair, theater rehearsals, music) and others. It is solidly constructed. I will likely attach it to the forthcoming Insta360 folding selfie stick (at its shortest length) with the Mini Remote which will allow me to start/stop recording from the handle.
