It's an OEM copy of Windows 10 - no end user support. As long as you understand that, it will provide a copy of Windows 10 for a machine that isn't eligible for the free upgrade.

I replaced the disk drive on a Windows Vista laptop with a new disk drive. Just unscrew it from\nthe bottom and it will just pop out. Purchase a similar or larger size disk drive and pop it back\ninto the connector. Put back the screws and you're ready to load the Windows 10 disk.\nJust follow the instructions on loading the program disk and before you know it, you have \nalmost a brand new computer. Not too hard to do. Save yourself the price of buying a new\nlaptop.

I ordered this from Newegg, and they not only mailed me the wrong Operating System, but 2 weeks later Ill need to wait longer for what I actually ordered. I also ordered this from Amazon, and almost 10 days later, I'm still waiting for it. Taking a chance on Computer Werx, I ordered this and got it within 7 days. They even gave me instructions on how to tell a genuine DVD from a fake one. I'll give these folks my business again.

I purchased this product to use on a fresh install of Windows to be used on an IMac. My prior version install disks simply wouldn't work and kept giving me errors of one sort or another. This gave me a fresh install to use and worked like a charm. I have not used this version, so there are some learning curves, but overall very happy with the product thus far.

I love my windows 10 cd it works on a computer with most operating systems just by over writing .It also works in Windows 10 pc to put in files missing or never added when first starting a pc .The disk is easy to use and is fast and efficient in fixing missing files or adding an operating system on pc purchased with no operating system.

My experience with windows 10 home edition 64 bit was reasonably priced . But I didn't know until afterwards that I needed the 32 bit edition instead. So I purchased the 32 bit edition for my computer; online. I would highly recommend using Walmart's online service to purchase most anything.

backup your personal files. All programs will have to be re-installed from either your CD or re-download them. A clean install is the only way to use this version of Windows... it does save your old windows (if your installing over an older version) in the Windows.old folder

This is a recovery disc, and is not bootable unless you have windows installed.\nThe only reason I didn't return it was because it did come with the key code.\nI had to use an older windows 10 home 64 bit installation disc for a new build,\nand used the key code that came with this recovery disc.

Excellent, this software is the real deal, and the seller is the real deal. I installed this OS on the PC that I just finished building, after it arrived . I certainly recommend this seller, and Windows 10 as well.

Might be fine for some applications, but not for mine. If your hard drive has been wiped, and you don't have dial-up or wired LAN connection for internet, it does absolutely no good. It contains no drivers for WiFi, so you can't even connect to download updates or necessary drivers.

My PC originally came with Win 8. Upgraded to Win 10 (free) a few months later al I got was the spinning Icon. Went to a PC repair place $300 later still broke. Ordered this reloaded and now it's ok.

Microsoft is hard selling One Drive, Bing and Edge; as the end user I should be able to uninstall or disable these unwanted programs. I've used Microsoft products for decades, but am totally unhappy with this BLOATED version of Windows 10.

All worked well after it began loading. Only other issue I have is that it does not recognize my printer which I tried setting up and loading the drivers, so I may need to get help doing that. You should know windows has stopped producing and selling windows 10. So newer seats are harder and harder to come by as time moves on. That fact could explain why i got a very unofficial copy of windows 10 in the mail when i bought this product. It is not what i expected to get and i immediately started the return process. Buyer beware, i guess. You might think you are buying a new, official seat of windows 10 as i thought. You might actually get something that looks like its sharing a seat of windows 10, and definitly didnt look like an official microsoft product, as i got.

And besides it's cheaper (at least when I got this) than the usb version, so why not. I guess only thing is you'd have to have your own usb drive (empty) to do the installing from if you don't have a CD drive on your PC...but other than that easy to use and a cheaper alternative since windows is expensive. :T

The disc I received was for 32 bit and 64 bit upgrades. When I tried to download the upgrade I was told to put the second disc into the DVD drive. The only problem is there was no second disc. The face on the disc I received shows 32/64. I went to the command prompt and access D./ DIR . There was no reference for the 64 bit upgrade only 32 bit. I will not buy from Computer Werx ever again. I still don't have my computer upgraded.

My experience with Windows 10 after buying a full version has been a positive one. Initially I upgraded from Windows 8.1 Windows 10 and it did not work so well. After receiving my full version of Windows 10 in a very speedy and reasonable amount of time I found the installation process smooth and fast. I've had no troubles with the new installation and I actually like the Windows 10 interface better than 8.1

Great operating system with tighter code, better security but with some apps missing like previous versions of windows. I would like to see the return of gadgets like the windows 7 clock. Boot Drive image backups finish under 5 minutes with an I5 6th Gen processor, 16 Gigabytes of memory to another internally mounted 1TB WD drive. Impressive for 70+ Gigabytes of apps and the operating system!

Windows 10 is a good product once you get it setup. I had to reload mine 5 different times to get it to work right. The first couple of times it ran slow and keep freezing up. After the 5th install I finally got it running correct. Still some of the programs had to be run under administrator until I went into properties and made all to run programs, then the programs worked correctly.

Product set up easier than I thought it would be. It does take a rather long time to load and finish all it needs to do. I just did what I needed to do, and left it to do its thing. Worked out great!
