The stallion got gelded, and they both got their teeth floated for the first time ever. The stallion hasn’t been caught in several years and hadn’t had his feet trimmed in at least eight years. We are still processing yesterday’s incredible rescue. In brutal winter conditions, we faced an unimaginable reality: horses trapped for years in stalls filled with five feet of frozen manure. With temperatures in the teens, the stall doors and walls were frozen to the walls of manure and embedded in the filth, and could not be opened. For Courage, a 6-year-old Standardbred stallion, years of compacted manure had raised the floor of his stall nearly five feet, leaving him standing atop a steep,
