Do you shad? It's dead of winter pattern with water temps hanging in the low to mid 40s in the Southeast. Gizzard shad will be schooled up thick near their summer feeding grounds. Fertile creeks/coves with large flats in the back should have schools suspended over 15-30 fow. Gizzards can still move pretty fast so sometimes a big fast net is required.
