Dobby arrived in poor health and had not seen a vet/farrier/dentist in over 5 years at his previous home. Most likely he had not been seen before that. This was due to the fact you could not catch him and he was unhandled. With his history of being abused, he was just scared. He hid from everyone when he first arrived even the other animals!!
