Disney named the creative team for its live-action Eragon series, marking progress on its next fantasy adaptation after Percy Jackson and the Olympians. Todd Harthan and Christopher Paolini are set as co-creators, with Harthan and Todd Helbing serving as co-showrunners on the Disney Eragon series adapted from The Inheritance Cycle. Marc Webb joins as executive producer, with 20th Television producing. The project opened a writers’ room in late 2023, and Bert Salke, Rachel Moore, Paolini, Harthan
