Today, Tweed Shire Council acknowledges the National Day of Mourning by flying our flags at hast mast at our office buildings in Murwillumbah and Tweed Heads. This evening, we ask our community to pause for a moment of silence at 7:01 pm to reflect and pay respect to the innocent lives lost. At dusk, the Murwillumbah bridge lights will be white as a tribute to today’s theme, “Light will win.” We also extend our thanks to Twin Towns Services Club for supporting the community and the National Day
